1 General description

2 Characteristics

 

a. Speical movement mechanism, with no gear or belt; no need for maintenance; stable performance and

b. Specially-designed balance mechanism, which makes boom start slowly, run quickly and stop slowly.

 

c．Avoid vibrating caused by boom’s running;

 

d．Only 90 degree running for the boom, to avoid the accident of 360 degree running caused by

4 Safety notes

 

a. During running, do not open the case-cover or case-door, to avoid accident.

 

b. Normally, users can not change the wire layout inside barrier gate. Please just connect the gate with

 

220V power supply.

 

c. The power supply system should be equipped with leakage breaker (≥10A).

 

d. During arm going down, do not place anything under the booms; and no body is allowed to standing or

 

walking under the boom.

 

e．When power cuts, first, turn off the power connection; then adjust the boom to vertical position by

 

turning the manual swing manually.

 

f. Normally, do not increase or decrease the length or weight of the boom, to avoid losing balance. If

 

necessary, professional staff is required.

 

g. Normally, do not adjust positions of mechnical limit switch or photoelectrilimit switch.

7 Common problems & solutions

 

Common problem	Analysis	Solution
When motor running, the boom does not work.	the key-pin of main shaft of motor drops bending-arm of mechanism part breaks-down	1. open the motor and refix the key-pin 2. dismount the mechanism part and replace the bending-arm
The arm vibrates during moving-down or reaching its horizontal position	1. Non-balance caused by weak spring tension; 2. Arm’s screws are loose; 3. The case is not fixed well.	1. replace the spring according to the Matching table of starndard spring or change hanging-hole’s position; or adjust the connection screw-rod of the spring to correct position; 2. fasten arm’s screws; 3. fasten the botls of the case;
The arm stops during movement.	wrong adjustment of limit switches too much spring tension	check the connection of limit switches and correct; (see connection drawing fordetails) replace the spring or change hanging-hole’s position;
Anti-collision fails	ground sensor or IR wire damages or wrong connection	Replace ground sensor or Irparts, correct the connection carefully according to the drawing;
The arm could not reach right position.	Wrong adjustment of limit switches	place the arm in horizontal orveritical position, adjust the photo-barrierto the middle of photoelectric switches till lightis on.
